I'll tell you what I'm talkin' about!

hello...world.

It's about time I started up my own blog, eh? Well, I write often in a journal, but there's a lot of things on my mind that I want you all to know. That's how a girl like me can be! Well, before I blog away all my inner thoughts, I figure now is an excellent time for you to get to know me!

First of, I'm a military brat; I've lived all over the world and spent my highschool years in Germany. Yes, I speak fluent Deutsch, so talk to me! I am over 75% Danish but I haven't learned the language yet, but I will start my college courses soon, so we'll see about THAT.

I just turned 18 and I'm living with my family for two more weeks until I head off for Brigham Young University in Utah. Yes, I am from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, but I've never lived in Utah before, so let's see how this works out. I am always open about religion, and I will talk to people about religion for the sake of letting people know where I'm coming from; it hurts when people are really nice to be and as soon as they discover I'm Mormon they treat me differently. I don't like arguing over it because someone always gets hurt and it's not worth it.

I'll be able to vote this November, but I'm not sure who to vote for; it seems like another episode of Biggest Loser to me.

I love music! I've played the clarinet for eight years, the piano for 6. I love going out on weekends to dances and I've been singing since grade school. I'm very competitive when it comes to Concert Band in school, but everything else are things I love to do for fun.

I'm also into art. I've been drawing since middle school and I just learned how to paint with acrylic. I've also learned how to paint with Paint Shop Pro. It's actually not as hard as I thought, but there's nothing like drawing and painting the real thing.

Speaking of PSP, I am a Shutterbug. I LOVE PHOTOGRAPHY. I love taking pictures of my friends and family, and especially all the places I've visited! I hope to save up for a nicer camera and a nice lens, but for now I have to wait.

I am a movie lover, but I love classic Disney movies. I've watched 'em since diaper days, and I've been to all the Disney theme parks except Disney California. It's funny how I've been to Disney Tokyo and Paris, but I have yet to get to Disney Cali. Even though I'm old enough to watch any kind of movie out there, I'm a major wimp. I can't watch scary movies or rated R movies because they give me NIGHTMARES. yikes. Anyway, I like quoting movies like that, and you'll find out...I love funny quotes; can't get enough of 'em.

So, that's a bunch for now, I'll be posting a lot of stuff on my mind very soon. It seems like when I signed up for this, a whole bunch of stuff came to mind and I couldn't let it leak out of my head yet! Alrighty, here goes nothing.
